Mysore Nuggets Extra Bold is sourced from Karnataka’s historic Arabica belt—a landscape of mist-covered slopes, fertile red and loamy soils, and centuries-old coffee culture. Although MNXB is a grade rather than a single-estate designation, its character is shaped by three iconic micro-regions renowned for producing India’s largest, cleanest, most flavorful Arabica beans.

Chikmagalur (1,000–1,450 m)
The birthplace of Indian coffee, Chikmagalur lies across the Baba Budangiri range with steep forested slopes, cool humid mornings, and exceptionally rich loamy soil. Coffees from here are known for pronounced sweetness, clean cocoa-toned clarity, and balanced acidity lifted by subtle fruit notes.
Kodagu (Coorg) – 900–1,350 m | 2,500–3,500 mm rainfall
India’s largest coffee district spans Somwarpet, Suntikoppa, Pollibetta, and Madikeri. Its shade-grown, biodiverse estates—intercropped with pepper, cardamom, citrus, and jackfruit—produce coffees with deep chocolate body, caramel sweetness, low rounded acidity, and outstanding uniformity.
Hassan / Sakleshpur – 900–1,200 m
This Western Ghats corridor features iron-rich red lateritic soils, cool monsoon winds, and persistent cloud cover. Coffees from here often show nutty sweetness (almond/hazelnut), warm spice tones, and a clean, silky finish.
